The Short
Former T&T captain Dr Bridget Adams was re-elected president of Netball Americas, according to a Ministry of Sport summary of Express reporting.
Related public figures: Bridget Adams · Coreen David
The Full Story
The Ministry of Sport's media monitor summarises an Express report of a 14–13 vote and says Coreen David was appointed honorary secretary. It does not provide the candidates' programmes or a detailed account of the ballot. The Express page could not be independently opened during this review.

Americas Netball currently lists Bridget Adams as president and regional director on its own website. That page still lists a different honorary secretary from the Ministry media summary, so it appears not fully updated after the reported election. It does not publish the ballot tally on the page reviewed.

This is an election story with two different levels of confirmation. The Ministry of Sport relays Express reporting that Adams won 14–13 and that Coreen David became honorary secretary. Americas Netball’s own leadership page identifies Adams as president, but the page reviewed did not confirm that margin and still showed a different secretary. That mismatch may reflect an update delay, but it cannot be resolved from the pages we have. The outcome puts a Trinidad and Tobago representative in a regional leadership role; specific decisions on tournaments or member support will need published records of the new administration.

Story-specific reporting note
The Express article remains inaccessible to this research tool. The governing-body page identifies Adams as president but appears stale on the secretary listing; the 14–13 tally and Coreen David appointment are attributed to the Ministry summary, not confirmed by official minutes.
