The Short

Organisers say the 2026 Republic Bank CPL health programme screened 5,555 fans across eight host territories. CNC3’s CMC report gives no separate Trinidad and Tobago total or independently assessed patient outcomes.

The Full Story

The 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League health programme screened 5,555 fans across eight host territories, according to organiser figures reported by CMC and published by CNC3 on Monday 2 November. The figures concern the tournament programme, rather than a new clinic taking place on Monday.

The report describes free blood-pressure, blood-glucose, body-mass-index, urinalysis and prostate-specific antigen testing, delivered with regional health authorities and non-governmental organisations. It says 984 referrals or follow-up vouchers were issued across the territories for which those figures were reported.

The report gives no separate Trinidad and Tobago screening or referral total and no independently assessed health outcomes. The referral figure should not be treated as a local rate or divided by the overall screening total. Organisers say they want to repeat the initiative annually; the account does not provide a new public clinic schedule.
