Culture and Community Development Minister Michelle Benjamin apologised that some funding arrived late relative to the observances it supported. She said delays involved budget allocations, organisations without current Legal Affairs registration, older ministry registrations and banking difficulties.

Benjamin urged religious and community groups to register with the Ministry and pledged more timely disbursement. She also expressed interest in supporting community family days and homework centres. The report does not set out a new application deadline, individual grant entitlement or a verified future payment schedule.
