The President made the appointments on the advice of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission under Section 104 of the Constitution, the Judiciary said on Monday 2 November. The Chief Justice welcomed the additional appellate capacity. The release does not set out a new case-allocation timetable or measured changes in court performance. Those outcomes remain separate from the confirmed appointments.
