The Full Story
The Express’s 4 November business report puts Guardian Media’s nine-month 2026 pre-tax loss at TT$23.3 million, against TT$14.1 million in 2025. It reports revenue of TT$53.5 million, against TT$63.4 million. These are the newspaper’s account of unaudited results.

The quarterly figures differ from the nine-month totals: the Express reports third-quarter revenue of TT$19.3 million, up from TT$18 million, alongside a quarterly pre-tax loss of TT$8.5 million, against TT$6.3 million. Improved quarterly revenue therefore does not mean the report describes a return to profit.

Guardian Media’s own company profile identifies ANSA McAL as its majority shareholder and describes print, broadcasting and digital operations. That establishes the company’s role, but does not independently verify these 2026 financial figures. Its current quarterly statement was not obtained in this review.
