A TV6 report published on 28 October says a man who had been held and questioned in connection with the disappearance was released from Shirvan Road Police Station on Tuesday 27 October. Its published description says relatives were also called in to give official statements. This earlier investigative step adds context to the later criticism of the response. The report does not establish anyone’s responsibility or confirm Christian’s whereabouts.
At a vigil in Port of Spain on Wednesday 28 October, a relative questioned the assistance being given to the family. This is the family’s criticism as reported by the newspaper, rather than a finding that police failed to investigate.

In the report carried by CNC3 on Thursday evening, Senior Superintendent Rodhil Kirk said police began pursuing available information when they received the report on 23 October. He rejected the suggestion that the case lacked priority and said enquiries were continuing. The report provides no confirmed location for Christian or independent finding about the adequacy of the response. Luk It Hyah has not obtained the original missing-person notice; this remains an attributed developing account.

The TV6 account was added to this report on 30 October as earlier context. It does not report a new release on 30 October or resolve the family’s concern about the search. Christian’s current whereabouts and the original police missing-person notice remain unverified in the material reviewed.
