By the Luk It Hyah newsdesk · Sources · Reporting disclaimer

The Short

The Express reports that National Flour Mills’ board decided on Tuesday to end Terrence Kalloo’s tenure as chief executive and named its commercial chief to act. NFM’s earlier appointment notice confirms Kalloo began on 1 June; a new company notice explaining the reported change has not been obtained.

The Full Story

National Flour Mills announced in May that Terrence Kalloo would become chief executive on 1 June 2026. That dated company announcement establishes his appointment, rather than the outcome of the later board decision reported by the Express.

In its Wednesday 4 November report, the Express says the board decided on Tuesday not to continue with Kalloo and named chief commercial officer Shyamal Chandradathsingh as acting chief executive. The newspaper says Kalloo could not immediately be reached for comment. It does not establish a reason for the reported removal.

NFM’s management page identifies Chandradathsingh as chief commercial officer and still lists Kalloo as chief executive in the version reviewed. That page supports the executives’ identities and earlier roles, but does not independently confirm the reported new acting appointment. No fresh company or stock-exchange notice explaining its terms, effective date or reason was obtained in this review.
