IzzSo identifies the man as William Aliyoung and reports that officers were alerted shortly after midday. It says officers from Santa Flora Police Station, the South-Western Division Task Force and the Homicide Bureau responded.

The outlet reports that he had gunshot wounds. An original police account has not been obtained for this brief, and the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear. No suspect or motive is established by the source reviewed.

In a follow-up published on Tuesday 3 November, IzzSo described the deceased as a 32-year-old driver and named him as William Lee Aleong. Its earlier account used William Aliyoung. The later report also gives a more detailed account of a car stopping and shots being heard before officers found the driver dead. The original police account has not been obtained, so the two spellings have not been reconciled and those additional circumstances remain attributed to IzzSo. Neither report establishes a suspect or motive.
