The Short

Police say two men charged in connection with an alleged Princes Town home invasion were each granted TT$250,000 bail with surety. Neither was called upon to plead; the matter was adjourned to 14 April 2027.

The Full Story

In a release dated 4 November, the Police Service says the two accused appeared before the Princes Town South B AJIPA Court on Monday 2 November. The bail sum applies to each accused, rather than a combined amount.

Police link the charges to an alleged incident on 28 October in which three people were threatened and a teenage complainant was assaulted. These are allegations in the police account, not findings of guilt. Identifying details about the young complainant are omitted.
