The East Zone Secondary Schools Volleyball League held its girls’ finals at Aranjuez Secondary School on Sunday 1 November. Guardian sports reporter Walter Alibey reported that St Joseph’s Convent, St Joseph, took all three titles contested by the school on the final day.

According to the Guardian, St Joseph’s beat El Dorado West Secondary 25–9, 25–16 in Under-15, then St George’s College 25–13, 25–16 in Under-17. In the Open Girls final, the paper reports a 25–5, 25–9 win over St Augustine High School.
