Minister Ravi Ratiram told the ceremony that veterinary work connects animal care with farmers’ livelihoods, disease prevention and the safety of the food supply. His remarks describe the profession’s wider role; the announcement does not allocate the graduates to particular clinics or public posts.

Acting Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Lisa Musai administered the oath. The ministry said it remained committed to supporting animal-health services, without announcing a new service location, recruitment timetable or funding allocation in this account.
